Worried about the heat? There's a happy answer for that. For fun in the water, visit the Blue Hole, open to the public on a 4th of July extended weekend. (Be sure to confirm that the area is open for swimming before planning this activity.) Swimming at Jacobs Well is always an experience to behold (limited reservations). Fishing and kayaking is but 13 miles from the square at RnR Campgrounds, tubing the Gadalupe is always on folk's summer bucket list.

How about a tour of the only commercially producing olive grove and olive mill in the Hill Country, complete with winery, tasting room and gift shop where you can get hand-crafted gourmet foods, wines, oil, and jams to take home or send to friends? Click here for more about Bella Vista Ranch.

See a movie at the one and only Corral Theatre. Watching the stars under the stars is a memorable experience for the whole family. Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings are show nights. Read more about the Corral here.
