Come to Blue Willow to Adopt a Precious Kitten or Cat as the Purrfect Companion
|

ARF Adoption Day is usually the second Saturday of each month. During other times, a direct call to ARF at 512-847-2878, is the best way to arrange a time to choose your next best friend.
If you're interested in a kitten or a loving cat, you may find yourself at the Blue Willow, a shop on the square in Wimberley, Texas. For years, the Blue Willow has sheltered a number of adorable kittens and cats available for adoption.
Ask anybody who has adopted a cat or kitten, and they'll swear their bond with their rescued pal is as deep as they come. When you open your heart and your home to a pet who needs help, they really do show their appreciation for the rest of their life!
Cats who have been uprooted from their homes, or have had difficult beginnings are likely to bond completely and deeply with their new human caretakers, whom they regard as heroes.
Rescued kitties, fostered because of a death or other tragedy in their former human family usually go through a mourning period. Once they are adopted, however, they usually want nothing more than to please their new hero---YOU!
It's important to remember that adopting a rescued animal is a much smarter option than buying from a pet store. No matter how "reputable" you think the pet store is, those who sell animals are getting them from one of two sources: 1) a "backyard" breeder, or 2) a kitten mill.
The majority of purebred animals in shelters or rescues are the product of "backyard" breeders who often sell kittens through the newspaper classified ads. The bottom line for these businesses is profit, not healthy, well-balanced kitties who will quickly become wonderful lifelong pets.
No matter what circumstances brought them to the rescue, most cats and kittens for adoption are exceptionally affectionate and attentive, and make wonderful companions.
These cats have been spayed or neutered and the kittens are in excellent
health. Stop by the shop and choose a new companion, bringing happiness
into your life and into his or hers.
Of course, first you have to adopt one! Once you do, you're sure to wonder how you ever did without your new best friend!
