Back to School Fiesta - The Barnabas Connection Assists Wimberley Area Children

The Barnabas Connection sponsors a Back to School Fiesta, Saturday, August 18, 2007, 9 AM to 1 PM in the Fellowship Hall at the Wimberley United Methodist Church.

The Fiesta is planned to help area children in the Wimberley ISD area who are in need of assistance in getting ready to go back to school. Assistance can include free school supplies, immunizations provided by the Hays County Health Department, free haircuts, help with applying for services (CHIP, Medicaid, etc) and more.

The Fiesta will include free school supplies for Wimberley ISD children (pre-registered children 9:00 to 11:00, and all other children 11:00 to 1:00) until the supplies run out, immunizations from the Hays County Health Department (9:00 to 12:00 am, $10 per child), free haircuts, free oral cancer screenings, and information on area programs for children and families.
