RESERVATION SYSTEM INFORMATION
During summer months, Blue Hole swimming operates on a reservation system. Reservations are for the swimming area ONLY. During below public swim hours, all visitors staying in the swim area more than 10 minutes will need to pay the fee. All other amenities in the park such as the playscape, hiking trails, basketball courts, and other recreation areas are free to the public and do not require a reservation year-round. 
Reservations open March 1, 2019 for the swim season.

Reservations: 
Two time slots (9am - 1pm, 2pm - 6pm)
Everyone is highly encouraged to make a reservation, excluding season passes. Once we have reached our capacity for the swimming area, we will not admit any new visitors. 
A picnic table can be reserved for your party. You will need to add a table at the end of your booking through our reservation system.
Cancellation Policy: Be sure to create a login at booking if you might need to modify or cancel your booking at a later time. If you do not have a login and need to cancel, please email rmanning@cityofwimberley.com at least 48 hours in advance to receive a 75% refund. Within 48 hours of your reservation, you are not eligible for a refund of any amount. You do not need to make a reservation to use a season pass, Friends of Blue Hole pass, or Library pass.
Inclement Weather Policy: In the case that the Blue Hole swimming area is closed due to lightning in the area or flooding of the swim lawn for more than one hour of a reserved booking, visitors will receive a 100% refund.

Please be advised the park is subject to closure due to inclement weather and for special events approved in advance by the City.

The information line has a recording with park information.  Please leave a message if you are in need of additional information not listed in the recording, and staff will return your call as soon as possible.

Please be advised that pets (dogs, birds, etc.) are not allowed in the Swimming Area. Service animals are allowed.  Tree jumping and climbing in the park are prohibited.  No alcohol or glass containers allowed.  No BBQ grills allowed in the Swimming Area; there are BBQ pits in other areas of the park (if no burn ban in effect.)  Fishing is not permitted.  Smoking is not allowed anywhere in the park. 

Ice chests with picnic lunches, camp chairs, 12’x12’ or smaller pop-up shade tents, and floats and inner tubes are allowed.  Children 12 years of age or younger will not be allowed in the park unless they are accompanied by an adult. Water shoes are suggested for sensitive feet.

“WIMBERLEY NIGHTS”
The Swim Area will re-open to Wimberley residents (78676 zip code) and season pass holders every Monday, Wednesday and Friday (from Memorial Day through Labor Day) from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm.  Admission for Wimberley residents will be $2 daily. Cash is accepted during Wimberley Nights.

 


Blue Hole Nature Camp 2019 registration will begin February 1st and end promptly one week before the start of each camp. Space is limited. Blue Hole Nature Camps run Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Children ages 6 - 12 may apply.

Please be advised that glitter, confetti, piñatas, and cascarones are not allowed in the park.  Decorations are restricted to tabletop decorations and free-standing decorations; no taping, hanging, tacking, or tying to any park structures is allowed.  Cooking is only allowed in designated picnic areas with park BBQ pits (when not in burn ban); no personal grills can be brought in.
