Love to Sing? Come Join the Wimberley Community Chorus!
The Wimberley Community Chorus is open to all who love to sing. Now's a great time to join and enjoy the fun of preparing for a very special performance.
Director Penny Gabrielson with the Wimberley Community Chorus

The Wimberley Community Chorus is issuing an invitation to new members. The chorus celebrates its 25th anniversary in December, 2005 with three concerts.

Free performances of A Quarter Century of Song will be held on December 2nd, 3rd and 4th with the best musical seclections from the past 25 years. The choral director for these concerts is Penny Elaine Gabrielsen and the chorus will be accompanied by Jean Fuller. Master of ceremonies is Richard Cheatham and the event chair is Teresa Ward.

The Wimberley Community Chorus will also perform a specially commissioned choral work by the nationally applauded choral composer, Joe Martin.

A catered reception will be held following each concert.

The chorus members and many of its graduates will be singing in this retrospective concert series along with new members, so a large chorus is expected.  You won't want to miss it!

If you enjoy singing, come and join us. All Chorus singers, past and present as well as new singers, are invited and urged to participate in this historic event.

Use the contact number on the Wimberley Community Chorus web site for more information or just show up at the first rehearsal at the Wimberley Methodist Church at 6:45 PM, September 12.  New membership closes at the third Monday rehearsal on October 4, 2005.
