The Wimberley Community Chorus 2007 Holiday Concert: An American Holiday: Traditional Carols, Old and New
Three concerts to enjoy on Friday and Saturday, December 7th and 8th at 7 PM, and on Sunday December 9th, at 3 PM at the Wimberley Presbyterian Church.

Continuing a happy holiday tradition, the sixty-three member Wimberley Community Chorus will fill Wimberley with the sounds of the yuletide season in a concert series, "An American Holiday: Traditional Carols, Old and New." Two evening concerts and a matinee will be performed on Friday and Saturday, December 7th and 8th at 7 PM, and on Sunday December 9th, at 3 PM.

Location for the concerts is the Presbyterian Church, across from the High School at 956 RR 2325. All concerts are free and open and everyone's invited to come get in the mood for a happy holiday season.

Under the professional baton of Anne Searles Jones and with the assistance of accompanist Allen Hennig, the concerts will herald the season in a program of traditional American yuletide music. The program will include music from popular Christmas movie classics, spirituals appropriate for the season, children's Christmas favorites, and several selections from the Christmas repertoire of acclaimed American poets.

There's nothing like music of the season to help you hum through those holiday preparations. Come enjoy these performances by friends and neighbors with a program that includes something for the entire family. Catch the holiday spirit in Wimberley.
