The public is invited to a series of meetings concerning water issues in the Wimberley area.
The Wimberley Valley Water issues Subcommittee was formed in May 2007 joining the Village of Wimberley Planning & Zoning Commission, Hays Trinity Groundwater Conservation District, and Village of Wimberley City Administrator in a study of water problems facing residents of the Wimberley Valley.
A primary goal of the subcommittee is to better educate the public on details of local water issues. A series of seven meetings are scheduled for July, August, and September to gather expert information for the public and subcommittee.
The meetings are scheduled from 6 to 8 PM in the Village of Wimberley Council Chambers at 12111 RR 12. There are 60 padded, comfortable chairs for the public. The meeting schedule is below.
