The Starlight Symphony Presents a Holiday Concert in Wimberley, Texas
"A Starlight Christmas," Music for All Ages, will be presented in Wimberley, Texas at the Lone Star Theatre, Wimberley High School on Sunday, December 17th, at 4 PM.
The Starlight Symphony Orchestra in rehearsal.
The Starlight Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Cina Crisara, will once again present "A Starlight Christmas" this holiday season in Wimberley on Sunday, December 17, 2006 at the Lone Star Theatre at the Wimberley High School.

The annual holiday concert is provided free of charge so the community may share in the fun of seasonal favorites! Musical selections include Winter Wonderland, The Skaters Waltz, Mannheim Steamroller's version of Stille Nacht and more. Stille Nacht will feature two student members of Starlight, saxophonist Chase Patterson and keyboardist Thomas Dale.

A guest conductor will be selected, via raffle, to lead the Starlight Symphony Orchestra in Sleigh Ride, by Leroy Anderson. Regardless of age, one community member will fulfill their dream of conducting a symphony orchestra. The guest conductor tradition was started last year to showcase local talent of all ages.

The orchestra will perform Saturday, December 16 at 7:30 PM at The Old Blanco County Courthouse in Blanco, Texas, in addition to the performance Sunday in Wimberley.

Performances are open to all ages, and a reception will follow. While admission is free, donations are welcomed. We invite you to come and share the joy of beautiful holiday music.

The Starlight Symphony is a fifty-five piece, regional orchestra serving students and adult musicians in Wimberley, Driftwood, Dripping Springs, Oak Hill, Buda, Kyle, Lockhart, San Marcos, Canyon Lake, Blanco, Johnson City, and surrounding Central Texas communities.

For more information, call (512) 858-0324 or visit the Starlight Symphony website. The Starlight Symphony Orchestra is a self-supporting branch of the Wimberley Players nonprofit organization for education and the arts. Donations are tax-deductible.
