Friday and Saturday,
September 19 and 20, 2008
10 AM to 5 PM
The Wimberley Valley Art league (WVAL) hosts the annual artists' studio tour for 2008 on the third Friday and Saturday in September. Visitors will be able to view a wide variety of art ranging from painting, and sculpture to pottery and furniture.

Artist, Maxine Price
Art lovers will have the rare opportunity to visit the studios of eleven nationally-known area painters, sculptors, and pottery artists. Each studio was selected to represent a creative approach to the use of space for art activities. The studios range from garage conversions to freestanding backyard studios to open air structures in rustic settings.

The WVAL Artist Studio Tour features the studios of Maxine Price, Leah Dunaway, Betty Rhodes, Keith Sanders, Marianne Vieregg, Bob Gottschall, Angela Nelson, Curtis Scott, Pamela Lamoureux, and Gaye Lynn and Michael Hodgson.

Ticket proceeds benefit the Wimberley Valley Art League (WVAL) and the organization's art education projects. The Wimberley Valley Art League is a nonprofit organization, with membership open to area artists.

For this special fund-raising event tickets will be priced at $15 for adults and $7 for students. The purchase of artwork will be available at various studios and a percentage of the sale will benefit WVAL projects. Tickets will be available mid-August at the Wimberley Visitor Center.

Don't miss this opportunity to see some of the reasons Wimberley is viewed as a truly unique artist colony in the Texas Hill Country!
