Wimberley Valley Art League's 2009 Studio Tour
"A Few Bluebonnets" by artist, Lilli Pell. Pell's studio is one of nine featured on this year's tour.

The 2009 Studio Tour will be held on Friday and Saturday,
September 18 and 19, 2009 from 10 AM to 5 PM.
The Wimberley Valley Art league (WVAL) is offering its annual artists' studio tour this fall on September 18 & 19. This year visitors can view a wide variety of art by nine local artists at nine locations, making this showing an unique cross section of artistic activity in this area.

The annual tour is a fundraiser for the Wimberley Valley Art League and is self-guided. Visitors may visit as many or as few studios on the tour as they wish, and in any order.

Residents and tourists will have the opportunity to visit workplaces of the following artists: Sue Ellen Stavrand, fiber arts; Lilli Pell, Andre du Rand, Bob Cook, paintings and photography; Mary Fulton, clay sculpture; Rodney Bursiel, photography; Zanna James, jewelry; Bill Meek, glass sculpture; and Ronnie Weeks, assemblage.

Tickets benefit the WVAL, a non-profit organization, and its art education projects. For this special fund-raising event tickets will be priced the same as last year: $15 for adults and $7 for students. Artwork will be available at various studios and a percentage of the sales will also benefit WVAL projects. Tickets will be available mid-August at the Chamber of Commerce Visitor Center.

Don't miss this opportunity to see what makes Wimberley an artist colony truly unique to the Texas Hill Country!
