The Team LiveStrong Challenge for Austin is held on Sunday, October 16th for 2011. With thousands of riders entered in this event, there will be some unavoidable traffic conflicts until early afternoon since the course includes many roads in Wimberley and the area.
Anyone planning to drive to studios on Sunday is advised to plan around this event. Most importantly, please give all bike riders right of way, observe all safety precautions for the riders and spectators, and remain patient with unavoidably long traffic stops...sometimes up to half an hour.
The LiveStrong Challenge is a great event and welcome in Wimberley. (This is the first year the studio tour has been scheduled to occur on the same day.)
For a really fun day, incorporate the Challenge as a spectator event before setting out to tour studios in the afternoon!
