Given blood lately? Did you know there's a critical shortage of certain types of blood? Please don't wait for the next disaster before doing your part.
Our wonderful Wimberley High School students are making it easy to donate, with a blood drive in the high school gym Thursday, March 9, 2006.
Three Wimberley High School organizations are teaming together to help combat the current critical shortage of blood. The drive is sponsored by the Student Council, National Honor Society and Leo Club with assistance from the Blood and Tissue Center of Central Texas.
Community members are invited to join students and staff at the WHS gym on Thursday from 9:20 AM to 4 PM for a blood drive.
Donors must be 17 or older and a photo ID will be required. Appointments are recommended. Please call 512.422.0859 to schedule a time.
