In September, the Wimberley Independent School District's
board of trustees called for a school bond election to be held
Saturday, February 4, 2006. Voters were asked to decide on a $42 million school
bond package earmarked to purchase 70 acres, build a new high school, and
renovate and repair existing facilities.
