Wimberley Valley Art League 2008 Artists' Studio Tour Offers Views of Creative Work Places for Area Artists

The Wimberley Valley Art league (WVAL) hosts its annual artists' studio tour for 2008 on the third Friday and Saturday in September. Visitors will be able to view a wide variety of art ranging from painting, and sculpture to pottery and furniture.
Art lovers will have the rare opportunity to visit eight to ten workplaces not normally open to the public. More information about the artists and their studios will be published here as the tour approaches.
Ticket proceeds benefit the Wimberley Valley Art League (WVAL) and its art education projects. The Wimberley Valley Art League is a nonprofit organization, with membership open to area artists.
For this special fund-raising event tickets will be priced at $15 for adults and $7 for students. The purchase of artwork will be available at various studios and a percentage of the sale will benefit WVAL projects. Tickets will be available mid-August at the Wimberley Visitor Center.
