The Wimberley Stained Glass motto is, as it was in 1980, "Yes, we
can!" It was our answer to all questions that began with, "Can
you..." It still is 24 years later. Our proof is that we have our
stained glass pieces all over the world. Not that we have traveled all
over the world, it is that the world has come to Wimberley.
Wimberley Stained Glass has been on the Wimberley Square for 24 years.
We make custom door inserts, panels, lamps, picture frames, night
lites, boxes, and anything you can dream.
We first draw the pattern from our customer's ideas or from wallpaper,
fabric, rugs, something from a magazine, a dog or cat or anything even
portraits of people. Or, you can just tell us what you want and we will
keep drawing it until it's the way you want it.
After you approve the pattern you choose the glass. If you live out of
town we can e-mail or fax or mail it to you and send you samples by
mail. Or if you need a reason to come back to Wimberley, you have one,
and you can pick out your glass from our large assortment of glass here
in the studio.
Today, my daughter Michelle Johnson, who has been working with me since
the beginning, my nephew Dewey Austin, and my husband David, make
Wimberley Stained Glass a true family business.
