THE 2012 HOME TOUR

The Wimberley Community Civic Club’s 25th Annual Hill Country Home Tour showcased six beautiful homes in the Wimberley Valley offering a range of styles, sizes, and architecture. All homes were decorated for Thanksgiving or Christmas. A gift shop at the Winters Wimberley House offered unique Christmas presents. Also at the Winters Wimberley House, the Leaning Pear Restaurant served a special luncheon. Guests also enjoyed a complimentary wine tasting hosted by Taste Buds.

The Home Tour in the fall and Spring Event in the spring are the two fund-raising events the Civic Club sponsors to raise money for agencies and organizations in the community each year. In May of 2011 the Civic Club gave $36,375 to 25 community organizations and scholarships to 10 graduating high school seniors.

The 25th annual “Hill Country Home Tour” was on November 9 and 10, 2012.
Since 1987, the club has provided the public the opportunity to look at some of the beautiful homes in the Wimberley area.
In 2011 the Home Tour raised $15,397.33.
