Please join WCCC at our upcoming meetings! Be sure to make your reservation on Constant Contact email before the deadline. If you are inviting a guest, be sure to reserve a spot for them when you make your reservation. Meetings are $15 per person. Lunch is included.

"Wimberley - There's No Place Like Home"
Ever wonder how Wimberley came to be? We have the people in the know from the Wimberley Institute of Culture coming to let us in on the story of Wimberley and how they intend to protect and preserve the History of the Treasure that we have right here in the heart of The Hill Country. You don't want to miss this fun, fact filled presentation that you can share with all your friends.

"Wimberley - Charity Begins at Home"
The Wimberley Civic Club supports local charities by donating funds for them to continue their mission here in Wimberley. We have two Organizations that are eager to share how they are using the funds donated by the WCCC. Barnabas Connection and WAG are coming to update us and we we have a new organization CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) coming to tell us about what they do. This will be a special time of hearing how much WCCC impacts the Wimberley Community.

Style Show - Friday, October 27
The Civic Club's Annual Fall Style Show and Brunch is set for Friday, October 27th at the Wimberley Community Center.
Tickets are $30 per person or a reserved table for 8 persons for $300.

"Wimberley - Home Tour"
Home Tour '30th Annual" on November 9-10.
Rebecca Minnick, Ericka Harrison and Laura Dalton are going to amaze you with the line-up for this years "Home Tour". You will not want to miss hearing the excitement surrounding this fun filled event.
* Lunch will be catered by Tonda Frady and ladies.

We will again host a Birthday/Christmas Party at Deer Creek,
coordinated by Betty Jo Slider and her Civic Club team.

Spring Event Preview "Wimberley - Fun at Home"
Spring Event is the month we all look forward to and clamor for our coveted copy of the "Spring Event" brochure. Linda Buckley and Ester Purcell are so excited to introduce you to the coming events so don't miss our. Be there or be square, because the fun begins at Home in Wimberley.Join us as we hear about the exciting venues for our 2018 Spring Events starting the end of January to end of April. Spring Event books will be distributed in preparation for online registration to begin at 9 am on January 15. Some events fill up quickly so youíll want to have your book in hand and hear about the many opportunities being planned.

Wimberley - Home is Where the Heart is"
Jan Bethancourt is a native of Neches and married her high school sweetheart nearly 42 years ago. They have two children and six grand-children. She now lives in Missouri City, TX, a suburb of Houston. She has created art since the age of four. Jan graduated with a degree in fine arts fro the University of Southwestern Louisiana and studied extensively at the Houston Museum of Fine Arts - Glassell School of Art. She began writing and giving presentations fifteen years ago. Prompted by her need to comfort her daughter, Jan wrote her first book. Be Empowered! Eat Chocolate with Breakfast which was inspired by the rigors of rebuilding her home after a devastating fire. Jan is in the business of encouraging women and inspiring them to recognize their worth. This will be an uplifting time that included a project that you will make and tae or give to that special friend that needs uplifting!

Tanya Kilgore, "Right Direction Organizing" is a member of the National Association of Professional Organizing. Tanya wants to lead you in the right direction for a more organized, productive and peaceful life. Since it is spring, who better to help us get a jump start on our spring cleaning and find a home for everything. She has many helpful hints to guide us into getting organized and staying organized. Here's your chance to learn a professional's secret to the trade.

"Wimberley - Local Home Treasures"
You want to know what makes Wimberley so popular? Well it's the fact that we have lots of Texas Treasures right here in our small Wimberley Valley. I am always surprised when I hear that people who live here know so little about our treasures. So we have some folks coming that will tell you everything you always wanted to know about BLUE HOLE and JACOB'S WELL. These are two sites that people come to from all across the United States to see. Come and learn all you can about two of our local home home treasures.

Owners of five unique homes in Wimberley will open their doors Nov. 10 and 11 for the 30th Annual Hill Country Home Tour hosted by the Wimberley Community Civic Club (WCCC).
The tour will take place from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. each of the days.
Tickets for the home tour are $20 and may be purchased atthe Visitor's Center and at any of the homes on the Tour.

The Home Tour in the fall and Spring Event in the spring are the two fund-raising events the Civic Club sponsors to raise money for agencies and organizations in the community each year. In May of 2017 the Civic Club gave $60,000 to 25 community organizations and $31,000 in scholarships to 10 graduating high school seniors.

The 2018 Spring Event will begin in January and will last into May. Events include Dinners, Arts and Crafts, Tours and Trips, Music and Literature, Workshops and other opportunities for fun. All hosts volunteer their time and talents,
