	Wimberley 4th of July Parade, 2008 It didn't rain on this parade! Pets had their moment and the enthusiastic crowd cheered the Wimberley folk on parade.
	63rd Annual Wimberley VFW Pro Rodeo Record-breaking crowds came to see the kids, cowboys, and cowgirls in calf roping, mutton bustin', bull riding and bronco bustin'. The VFW also arranged a special appearance by a spectacular rainbow. What will they do next?

	Fire Off Purgatory Road 2006 saw one of the worst droughts in many years, which created extreme fire danger year round. This fire was one of several in the Wimberley area fought off by the quick responses of local firefighters and support teams.
