Blanco Market Days are sponsored by the Old Blanco County Courthouse Preservation Society, a non profit organization dedicated to the restoration, preservation, and maintenance of the Old Blanco County Courthouse.
This Market Day is held on the front lawn of the Old Blanco County Courthouse, a beautiful and historic location, every third Saturday from April to November. There's a special Christmas Show in December.
2008 marked the 16th year for this popular market day, which draws vendors with handmade crafts like beautiful rugs, artistic pots, custom scents, and jewelry.
Setup time for vendors is 7:30, and Market Day usually ends around 4 PM.
Blanco Market Day is a very pleasant, relaxed market in an attractive
setting. Even Fido can enjoy browsing with his person through the
booths. And the historic courthouse and surrounding buildings that make
up Blanco lend an inimitable early Texas flavor.
