 The 65th Annual Wimberley VFW Rodeo & PBR Bull Riding
July 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th 2010 at 7:30 PM
Veterans Park, Wimberley, Texas
 

Once the largest outdoor rodeo in the world, the Wimberley VFW Rodeo and PBR Bull Riding still ranks near the top, and events for the 65th rodeo will be better than ever!

This year, Hays County Open Team Roping will be on Thursday night . Friday features PBR sanctioned bull riding with the PBR Touring Pro Division.

On Saturday and Sunday Cowboys Professional Rodeo Association (CPRA) sanctioned pro/open events are featured.

Friday, July 2nd

Mutton Bustin' - 7:00 p.m.

then the top 10 will make it back to
the Short Go/Final Round

  • Sponsored by VFW Post 6441, Wimberley, Texas as a not-for-profit event benefiting the community, veterans and active duty servicemen and women

  • Producer/stock provider: Bo Davis of Gonzales, Texas

  • 2 calf scrambles nightly: one for ages 5-8 and another for ages 9-12

  • Fireworks nightly after the rodeo

  • Featuring Hall of Fame rodeo clown/bull fighter Leon Coffee of Blanco, Texas

  • 2 Mutton Bustin' events nightly; Mutton Bustin' registration inside the VFW at 6:00 p.m. The cost will be $20 per ride and there is a 60 lb maximum rider weight.

TICKET INFORMATION

Advance tickets are on sale at the VFW Post June 28, 29 & 30 (Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday) from noon to 6 p.m. Cash, check, and major credit cards are accepted. On those days call 847-6441.

Limited box seat tickets (PBR night-$35, Rodeo nights-$25) are on sale at advance ticket purchase days listed above.
