Just wondering if there are many folks in the Wimberley area who are into horseback riding, showing, etc. We are looking to move there in the next year and just wondering if there are many folks in the area with similar interests.

While I am not a horse person, I know for a fact my vet in town is, and I have a hunch a lot of the local folks also have horses.I am sure you will find folks to talk with.

Are you interested specifically in adult type shows/gatherings? My kids are involved in horse events here and there are many opportunities for them. I know less about adult things but I do know that in the local sheriff's posse horse show there were lots of adults involved so I'm going to assume there are some things to get involved in.There are always shows in surrounding communities as well, easy commute on weekends.
