The Golden Gals never did get off the ground (I was too ill to do much about it for a while and then moved to Colorado for 7 months - but my husband made me leave the Rockies and come back here - which is not so bad. This is another beautiful piece of Heaven on Earth) but I am trying to revive it.For newcomers to my idea, this is what it is: I want to start a circle of women friends who can share ideas, chat, hikes, canoeing, coffee, dinner, lunch - all kinds of things, and get to know one another. I thought a 50's and older group would be good, as most of us are empty nesters and we have time for ourselves now. If anyone under 50 wants to join, then fine. You can learn a lot from we older women. I think women need to meet and have friends who they can depend on, to talk to and to spend time with. Our husbands/boyfriends/significant others simply do not fulfill that need. So, if anyone is interested, please e-mail me at vjm78676@hotmail.com. I am serious about getting this started soon and the more the merrier. Hope to hear from you soon.
