From Hays County Crimestoppers:

"Crime of the Week
July 25, 2008

Hays County Crime Stoppers is assisting the Hays County Sheriff’s Office in solving the following Aggravated Robbery.

At approximately 10:00pm on Thursday, July 24th, a male was severely beaten and left for dead as 3 suspects stole several musical instruments from a residence in the 400 block of East Summit Dr. in Wimberley. The victim answered a knock at his front door and was advised by the white male at the door that his house was on fire. As the victim exited his residence to investigate the fire claimed by the white male, the victim was struck on the head by some sort of club, causing the victim to fall to the ground. As the victim lay on the ground, 2 other white males severely beat the victim, bound the victim with duct tape and left him for dead.

With the victim lying motionless on the ground in front of his residence, the three suspects made entry into his residence and stole a black Fender Guitar, red Gibson Guitar, a Fender guitar amplifier, a Marshal Amplifier, the victim’s wallet and cell phone. The suspects then left the residence and went to the victim’s car where they stole the radio, a leather jacket, and checkbook. Due to the victim’s eyes being full of blood resulting from the beating, he was unable to provide Sheriff’s Investigators with any detailed descriptions of the suspects. Several minutes after the suspects left, the victim was able to get to his feet and with great difficulty, walked to a neighbor’s house to get help. Hays County Sheriff’s Office Investigators have no other leads in this case and need your help to solve this heinous crime and bring the violent suspects to justice.

If you have any information that could help the Hays County Sheriff’s Office solve this Felony crime, please call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-324-TIPS (8477). If your information leads to the arrest and indictment of the suspect(s), you will be eligible for a CASH reward of up to $1,000. All calls are totally confidential and all callers will remain anonymous. You do not have to give your name and you will not have to testify in court.

Hays County Crime Stoppers pays up to $1,000 CASH for information that helps Law Enforcement agencies solve Felony Crimes."

We visit Wimberley at least twice a year, and never thought we would hear of something like this happening In Wimberley! I'm glad to see they caught the LOSERS! One could bet these Losers needed drug money, so being the lazy, sorry animals they're, had no problem in robbing/beating an innocent citizen in order to get their next fix! This not only nauseates me, it infuriates me too! I hope they serve some serious prison time!
