I rehab wild birds and had to keep a male painted bunting over the winter. They are due to start returning soon and would like to release this guy where others like him are known to be. If there is food and water out for these birds when they arrive, I would appreciate being allowed to release him at such a place and time. I am hoping a bird lover will contact me as soon as they start seeing these birds at their feeders. Thank you Debbiedebbie.riddle1@att.net ------------------ Debbie [This message has been edited by 4thebirds (edited April 02, 2010).]

4thebirds......what you do is a wonderful thing. I use to foster dogs that had been beaten/abused. It was stressful but rewarding at the same time. I'm glad to know if I find an injured bird on our property I can come here and find you. Good luck with your release.... kh

They are back in the area now. Saw first one Saturday. You can probably release him now.
