We found one of these in the downstairs bath after the last rainy day. He was AT LEAST 8 inches long. Now this is what I call a centipede!!!!http://www.uark.edu/ua/arthmuse/sheros.html We've seen them before here, but usually only after turning over a rock or moving a bucket that sat out for a long time. They are always a thrill and are very, very fast.

Last night about dusk I was out in my drive and a tarantula ambled over to me, checked out my foot and wandered off. Strange critters.
