Each year the Wimberley Lions Club chooses a member whose outstanding contribution deserves a very special recognition. Lion of the Year candidates are nominated by a group of previous Lions of the Year. Three Lions Club members are then placed as a slate to the entire club from which the current Lion of the Year is chosen.

We are pleased to introduce these special people to you here and honor them for their unselfish and dedicated service.

	Lee Gibson, Wimberley Lions Club Lion of the Year, 2007


	Lee Gibson is the epitome of Lion leadership, working tirelessly to create synergy between the Lions Club and the Chamber of Commerce, undertaking the single club hosting for the District Convention, acting as top membership recruiter, and is a multi-tasking leader at Wimberley Market Day. 	Dan Williams, Wimberley Lions Club Lion of the Year, 2006


	Dan has exemplified the Lions motto, "We Serve," holding various positions on the Board of Directors, serving as president and Market Day Leasing Manager. He also conducted planning and grant applications for an international sight program with LCIF. CLICK FOR MORE»

	As Market Day Logistics Manager, Bill makes sure supplies and goods necessary for Market Day are on hand. He places orders with vendors, does a receiving inventory, and sorts.
