Wimberley
really knows how to celebrate the 4th of July! After a morning parade
(click here to see scenes of a
previous parade), crowds turned out in a dreamy drizzle of
misty rain to enjoy a rare cool afternoon in midsummer.
Music
included Sarah Jarosz and “Blue-eyed Grass.", the Ash Family
Band, Jim Henderson and Friends, Jill Jones and the Lone Star Chorale
and the Wimberley Community Chorus and Hill Country Community Band.
Later that evening, the VFW Rodeo
provided excitement and fun for everyone, and even managed a beautiful
rainbow sky.
