I graduated from the University of Houston at Clear Lake in 1992 with a Master of Arts in Visual Arts. Since then I have established a studio in Wimberley, where I paint in oil and teach classes. My interest lies primarily in landscape, animal, and figure painting.


A member of OPA and numerous other art organizations, Witte Global Gallery in Austin, Pitzer's Fine Art, Wimberley, Kirchman Gallery, Johnson City, I continue to explore the world of oil painting, knowing that there is always another challenge around the corner.


I paint realistically but with an eye to capturing mood and light in my paintings, using loose brushwork and strongly contrasting values.
