Sponsored by the Wimberley Community Civic Club, the 2011 Hill Country Homes Tour for the Holidays
is Friday & Saturday, November 11h and 12th from 10 AM to 5 PM. Five unique homes
are featured for 2011, and a sixth where a pre-tour cocktail party will be
held.
The Wimberley Community Civic Club chose five beautiful homes for the
2011 Hill Country Home Tour, November 11-12,
showcasing the broad variety of homes in the Wimberley community.
Be sure to mark your calendars for this event and help the Civic Club raise money to give to the Wimberley community. Remember that while enjoying the tour you will be helping our community. The Home Tour in the fall and Spring Event (formerly Hobby Lobby) in the spring are the two fund-raising events the Civic Club sponsors to raise money for agencies and organizations in the community each year. Typically, the Civic Club gives monetary gifts to 25 community entities and scholarships to 10 graduating high school seniors.
A seventh stop on the tour is the historic Winters-Wimberley House where you will find a wide assortment of handcrafted items, theme baskets, and a delectable selection of baked goods, candies, pickles and preserves in the home's original parlor from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm.
Lunch is served in the Tea Room, $10 per person, from, 11 AM to 2 PM.
Tickets will be available at the Visitors' Center and each home, as well as the Gift and Bake shop
at the Winters-Wimberley House. For more information
visit the Civic
Club page.
