| The Wimberley Concert Association is pleased to present pianist and singer Bruce Billingsley in concert at its annual Welcome Concert, September 11 at 7:30 p.m. at Chapel in the Hills in Wimberley.
Mr. Billingsley will be assisted by Ann Jeanette Patton, soprano. Admission is free and a reception will follow.
Mr. Billingsley is no stranger to Wimberley audiences, though they have known him primarily as a pianist. He has performed often on Wimberley stages, most notably in two performances of an all-Chopin concert in June, 2001. He has also directed the Wimberley Community Chorus on several occasions and participated in many programs as both singer and pianist.
For this concert, Mr. Billingsley has prepared a varied program featuring piano
favorites including compositions by Chopin, Debussy, Schumann and Liszt,
as well as charming songs from America’s Golden Age of music, in which he will be joined by Mrs. Patton.
A non-profit organization, Wimberley Concert Association opens its 28th annual season with this free concert and will announce the balance of its 2003-04 season at the event. Season tickets will be available for purchase.
