K. Fowler began producing art at nine, and has public pieces in
Europe, Saudi Arabia, and the United States. Fowler's astonishing
work lives in such diverse settings as Houston's Hones Hall, the
Houston Zoo, universities, community centers and banks in New
York, Amarillo, and Houston. His work graces numerous private
collections of patrons around the world.
Critics have praised Fowler's art as "durable,"
"vigorous," "forceful," and
"stunning." These are brave souls, for coming
face-to-face with one of his pieces, most of us would find that
words are inadequate to describe the impact of his powerful
mastery of a broad range of media.
Fowler's genius causes even the most cosmopolitan pedestrian to
stop short, then gaze in wonder at his enduringly beautiful
manipulations of mundane materials.
Bob Fowler most recently lived in Wimberley, Texas. He was first featured
as a Featured
Artist at VisitWimberley.com
in 1999. He died November 3, 2010 and will be sorely missed.
Fortunately for all who
love beautiful things, his incredible work survives him.
