Visitors often plan to spend the whole day here and in the Village of Wimberley, where unique shops abound. Some arrive the day before and stay in one of the excellent lodgings in the area to fully experience the area. One thing is certain, with around 450 vendors to check out, you'll want to allow plenty of time for a relaxed exploration of the possibilities.
Wimberley Market Days is the major fundraising project of the Wimberley Lions Club, and is largely served by volunteers who are members of the club. Wimberley Market Day is the second largest flea market in Texas.
Items for sale range from antiques, collectibles, jewelry, nuts, hats, crafts, bird houses, clothing, leather goods, books, plants, decorative items, art, photography, and furniture to baked goods, massages, honeybutter, crafts, candles, music CDs, and Mexican imports.

Do your Doo Diligence!
In 2018, we started allowing dogs at Wimberley Market Days, as long as your dog is on a leash and you do your “doo diligence” and clean up after them when nature calls. To this end, we have installed dog waste dispensers at all entry gates to the market field. Look for these clearly marked dark green boxes mounted to fence posts or exterior walls near all entrances.
There's often live entertainment at this market in the large pavilion. This covered area has plenty of shaded seating for enjoying the food and drinks always available at numerous concession stands. A delicious barbeque lunch, prepared by the Wimberley Lions, is available if you'd like to stay the day.
Although there's no admission fee, do plan to pay for parking. Most of the parking lots are also managed by the Lions Club, and the proceeds for parking, as do most of the proceeds from booth rentals and concessions, go to the club's local charitable endeavors.
