Twin Sisters Dance Hall

is another historic landmark built by German immigrants; this one in 1870. It can't be seen from the entrance gate on Hwy 281 about 6 mi S of Blanco, but there's a large sign on the E side. Dances are held on 1st Saturdays. This one has it all: plank floors & walls, exposed beams, wood tables & benches, tin siding… and great live music.
